You don’t say if you are using a laptop or desktop, but if it’s a laptop try running it on the battery and see if the buzz stops. …and this sounds like a ground loop that can happen sometimes. Any help will be appreciated, and again, sorry if i'm bad at explaining this all. If someone could walk me through how to set this mixer up with logic pro x properly that would be amazing. When i turn "core audio" off in audio settings the buzzing goes away too but then i can't record anything through the computer. When i disconnect the USB wire the noise goes away completely. Should they not each have a separate input? I'm sure i'm overlooking something, have set up the mixer wrong or i'm just being stupid.Īlso, i have a slight buzzing sound playing through my monitors (Mackie CR4's, they are plugged into the mixer via the "main out") whenever the USB is plugged in. All 4 of the MIC inputs on the mixer work in input 1 or 2. When i create a new audio track in logic the only inputs available are input 1, input 2, input 1 & 2, bus and surround. ![]() ![]() I just purchased an alesis multimix 8 USB FX mixer/interface to record vox/guitar into logic pro x. ![]() I'm relatively new to all of this so sorry in advance.
